Whiterock
Resort welcomes school and youth groups.
A one-hour program about the Historic Garst Farm and the Khrushchev visit is
provided at no charge, and can be adapted to
groups of all ages. A visit with the cows and buffaloes is included.
A school tour program including fishing lessons, a guided farm tour, and
history talk and a venue for sack lunches can be provided at $5 per
person.

Many
youth groups enjoy activities including horseback
riding, draft horse wagon rides and canoeing and also educational workshops and tours.
Oakridge Country House provides relatively low cost
housing for 13-20 people. Our main campground is accessible and provides basic
amenities. A camping discount is
provided for groups of 10 or more who make reservations and pay as a unit.
Camping for Scouts and similar groups may be
provided for free, in exchange for service work
such as cutting thorn trees, digging thistles or patrolling for garbage on the Resort
property.
